
Brooke Gibbons (b. 1983, Tamuning, Guam) is a conceptual artist, consulting curator, archival-based researcher, and advisor for museums and organizations.
Her personal artwork is based on CHamoru futurism through cultural preservation, time study, innovative and decolonial archiving and digitization, and continued advocacy in the diaspora. As a consulting curator and advisor, she works with cultural heritage museums and spaces to preserve and highlight stories, art, and history.
Currently, Brooke is working on an anthology based on CHamoru Futurist Theory, as well as developing the Millennial Memory Archive Project.
Brooke has worked with The Guam Museum, Thankful Heritage Black History Museum, Wells Fargo Museum, Charlotte Art League, Cain Center for the Arts, and Ephemera Society of America, among others. She spoke at the the Organization for the Democratization of the Visual Arts (ODBK)’s 2024 conference about museum repatriation efforts in Guam, and has made appearances on the Fanachu! Guam podcast, and the Melungeon Voices Podcast-which she is co-hosting for the 2025-26 season.
